Composting

All of our extras go in the compost pile. A healthy mixture of greens and browns, this compost is then used to fertilize plants around our property.

• We turn our pile every 4–7 days. As the compost starts to mature, it may need to turned less often.
• While rain can help keep the compost pile moist, you may need to water it occasionally.
