Growing Spaces

Gardens

Three gardens are essential to our sustainability efforts. With over 1600 square feet of growing space and 16 beds, we never go hungry!

Orchards

Our orchards are well-maintained and produce a wide range of fruit, berries, and even maple syrup! Stop by and enjoy the beauty!

Flower Beds

Five flowerbeds are filled with perennial flowers that both beautify the landscape as well as providing habitats to all types of pollinators.

Cold Frames

Four cold frames allow us to start plants earlier in the Spring and continued growth later in the Fall by avoiding the downfalls of last frost and first frost.

Animals and Natural Resources

Chickens

We raise 2 types of chickens: egglayers and broiler hens in happy, healthy free-range grazing environments between 3 coops (2 mobile, 1 stationary).

Wildlife

A place for deer, turkey, bear, grouse, pheasants, squirrels, chipmunks, bees, birds, owls, and earthworms to build habitats with an abundance of natural resources.

Water

Our streams provide a natural habitat to frogs and tadpoles and supply drinking water to deer and other wild game.

Forage

Wildlife on our property enjoy Ferns, Grass, Nuts, Berries, Fallen apples, Laurel, Leaves, and Brush Piles that better the habitat.

Field

Our backfield is planted annually and provides a great crop yield! One of the most scenic spots on the property, you will always enjoy the peace of nature.

Trails

Our property has many trails for hiking and transportation. These trails are sustained through yearly maintenance and provide a way to experience every acre of the property.
