2024 Garden Report

Annual 2024 review of our garden activities. Find out how we did in the Upper Garden, Lower Garden, and Town Garden.

The summer of 2024 was hot and dry and not unlike most in our area, our gardens suffered to produce a plentiful harvest.  Many of our early spring crops like spinach, radishes, and turnips did well.  And although the yield was not as great as previous years, we still had a few tomatoes, peppers, and pumpkins.  While some plants like corn and apple trees did very poorly, perennial and annual flowers continued to produce wonderful blooms.
