Cold Frames

Four cold frames allow us to start plants earlier in the Spring and continued growth later in the Fall by avoiding the downfalls of last frost and first frost.

Established in the mid-10's, these coldframes are covered with glass windows in January and February, enabling us to start seeds much earlier before the last frost. We have enjoyed great yields of cold-weather crops like spinach and peas!
